A rainy Thanksgiving weekend has delayed the fall harvest about two weeks, says Sarnia farmer Kevin Forbes, of Forbesvue Farms. Chris Deelstra, drives a combine harvesting 250 acres of soya beans being grown by Forbesvue, along Waterworks Road. Forbes said a small amount of moisture clogs the combine so the window to harvest is very short and farmers are also rushing to get winter wheat planted.
