Fanshawe College school of design and the Donald J. Smith school of building design students were asked to come up with proposals for a 26-acre piece of property near Lakeshore and Waterworks, owned by the Huzevka family. A good size crowd turned out to view four of the seven projects submitted at Brights Grove Public School. Here Jasmine Brinovcar, black sweater, explains the concept of the winning design "Trethway Park Village to local citizens and politicians, including city clerk Dianne Gould-Brown and Sarnia councillor Cindy Schoulten. The competition was created in honour of Marshall Huzevka, a student of the school of design who died in a motorcycle accident while returning home from Fanshawe.
